CAMPING ON THE DESERT

WE HAVE BEEN STAYING IN SOME VERY NICE RV PARKS FOR THE MOST PART. TONIGHT WE WILL MOVE TO THE PARKING LOT OF THE LOCAL INDIAN CASINO BECAUSE WHERE WE ARE NOW CHARGES $50 A NIGHT IF YOU DON'T STAY FOR A WEEK.  WE WILL ONLY BE IN YUMA 3 MORE DAYS SO WE WILL DO WHAT THEY CALL "DRY CAMP". WE HAVE A GENERATOR AND ARE SELF CONTAINED SO IT WILL BE OK.

The crazy thing is there are hundreds of people who just pull out into the middle of the desert and sit there all winter with no hookups. That is not for us.  We went through Quartzite where the big rock and mineral show was going on and I couldn't believe all the RVs.  I will include a few photos of that  here.

WE ARE RIGHT ON THE MEXICAN BORDER IN ALGODONAS MEXICO.
CAN YOU SEE THE BORDER PATROL RADAR ON THE MOUNTAIN?
